OVERVIEW

Santa needs your help to save Christmas! Santa's Village is looking very sad this year and it seems he's is having a hard time bringing back the Christmas spirit to his little village! By talking to villagers, crafting items and fixing up their houses you might be able to save Christmas in time! 

CRAFT

By unlocking recipes, picking up items and crafting new ones you can rebuild the village and spread some Christmas cheer! New areas will be unlocked as you make your way through the whole village. 

TALK TO VILLAGERS

What happened to Santa's Village? Talk to elves, Frosty the Snowman and other villagers to help you along the way! Unravel the mystery of what happened to this once bright little Christmas village and help wherever you can!

Developer

  • Designing & Developing the Main Gameplay loop, 3C's, Narrative Design and Level Design.

  • Maintain creative direction in collaboration with friends.

  • Planning the intended player experience and creating a schedule that fits a christmas release.

THE VILLAGE

  • Designed the overall layout of the village, considering factors such as aesthetics, accessibility, and flow.

  • Designed progression and motivation curves that guided player advancement through Santa's Village.

  • Documented a comprehensive guide to track all aspects of the Village, including layout, NPC placement, and resource management.

- SYSTEMS -

INVENTORY

  • Developed an Inventory system that lets the player move around objects of different sizes.

CRAFTING

  • Developed a visually appealing and user-friendly crafting system.

  • Implemented recipe-based mechanics for players to craft various items in the game in order to continue progressing the game.

DIALOGUE

  • Designed and implemented a modular dialogue system that lets the developer create new conversations with ease.

MINIGAME

  • Created an engaging card-matching minigame within the game in order to break up the main gameplay loop.

PROGRESSION

  • Designed a progression system that facilitates the creation of "broken" objects in the game that the player needs to repair.

  • Implemented mechanisms for players to repair and interact with these objects seamlessly.

  • Established an efficient method for connecting and integrating all the "broken" objects into the gameplay.

- NARRATIVE -

STORY

  • Crafted a compelling and straightforward narrative for the game.

  • Developed a diverse cast of characters to enrich the player's experience and motivation to progress.

DIALOGUE

  • Wrote dialogue for all in-game conversations.

  • Added humor to the dialogue, creating funny moments and keeping the game's vibe light and wholesome.
